Moments of our 1995 Family Reunion

The 1995 reunion was again celebrated in Laurier, Manitoba, with the added pleasure of having for the first time our cousins from Switzerland joining us, Jean-Michel Tornay and his wife Marie-Jeanne, of Orsières where our ancestor, Charles-Victor Tornay was born.   He addressed the family in French and provided the two survivors of the second generation with  a beautiful wooden plaque engraved with an image of the town of Orsières. As well, Jean- Michel Tornay provided us with a scroll with a message from the “Valaisans of the World” Committee.
