Thanks to Roland Delaurier, many of the Delaurier family will be back together as done every 5 years. This year, the Antoine & Hubert family will be gathering in Laurier, MB. All Delaurier family members are welcome to join in!
The two eldest brothers of the Swiss Immigrant to Canada, Antoine & Hubert, married two sisters, Juliette & Rose Duruisseau. Antoine & Juliette had 17 children and Hubert & Rose had 10 children. In 2000, these two couples accounted for 311 descendants! This gathering is to continue to honor the loving memories of these great prairie pioneers.
The event is rather informal and everyone is welcome to attend. One large meal is planed one evening with two pigs roasting on a spit. Entertainment is also planned.
Everyone is invited to join in at this gathering and to help out with the activities that are being added as we approach the planned event.
